Kinja'd!!!

The Twingo demanded to be in the shot, probably to brainwash you guys about how awesome it is....

This is obviously what the second car of a Land Rover driver should say! Maybe they should have added, ‘but it’s broken’ as a subscript, though.

(To be honest this is probably meant jokingly, since it’s a courtesy van belonging to a Land Rover specialist)

It’s fair warning to avoid them, lest you get pulled in to a protracted conversation about the minute differences between Series turn signals or something.

joking/only half joking

It’s a necessary warning indeed, haha

The screwless IIA NAS glass fixtures are just the best - even if you have the ‘67 amber ones. The oversize plastic NAS Series III amber turns are a travesty - as are the fender reflectors.

But what about the NATO screw-ins for Series III? Surely better than the IIa’s screwless, and still made from glass. Far superior.

But even when I’m driving my Land Rover my other car is a Land Rover. I mean really, I’m doomed.

Better than the clunky US SIII ones, and much easier to service than the screwless. Quite a lot to be said for the elegance of the L594 beehive, however.

I mean yes it’s pretty, but I prefer the pattern version for the sidelights. Far less glare.

It would be a bit weird on a Land Rover, but on one of the Skodas it might work, just change ‘car is a’ into ‘cars are’!

You’re not really doomed, only doomed to offroad, which isn’t such a bad thing.

It’s only a joke until some motherfucker says he doesn’t like the L691/2 rears. Then it’s on.

I’m sure I’ve seen a picture of one of your cars off-road.

Oh look, there it is:

Off-roading in the Skoda also counts, I guess....

I know Land Rovers have a reputation for being unreliable but my brother is on his 3rd Defender (which I’ll give you is only 10 months old), 2 Discovery’s and a Series III and the only one which ever broke down was he V8 Disco and that was due to the company that converted it to LPG fucking it up (and the Series III didn’t actually run when he bought it but that was due to the plug leads being 180 out!), some have had issues, but none major and none of them broke down of their own accord!

Just needed to get that off my chest, carry on.

I was just joking, most of them, especially the Defenders, seem pretty solid. I think it is mostly 90s and 00s Range Rovers causing the reputation to be honest, since they have all the breaky fancy stuff.

That Twingo is awesome... That Twingo is awesome...

Gevalletje “De blinde helpt de lamme”... How on earth can one call himself a Land Rover specialist without driving a Discovery or Defender as a service car????

With any car they would have. But with a Citroën? How’s that more reliable? ;-)

Pakket is dit weeken gepost. Nog een paar daagjes!

Kinja'd!!!1

You’re right, they might have lost their mind a bit. There whole ‘referentiekader’ of reliability must have been ruined by the Land Rovers.

Laat maar weten als het pakketje er is!
